Product Description

These  300mm x 600mm specially designed anti-uric acid porcelain tiles, won RAK the contract due to their technical prowess; they surpassed other suppliers products and passed the international test standards, confirming the high quality and durability of RAK porcelain tiles.

Scope

As the fourth busiest airport in the world, this project required a hard-wearing tile to withstand round-the-clock, heavy traffic. At full capacity it is designed to take on 30 million customers in one year, with over 90 airlines flying to 17o destinations worldwide. The architects confidently specified RAK’s modern finish, high performance products for the Terminal 5 building in this RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) award winning project.

Results

Modern airport design sets the high standards of functionality, openness, safety and acceptability. RAK Ceramics customized porcelain tiles, one of specially developed product range for air port segment was best suited by the contractor from specifications point of view, besides having good design finish that provides airport area with contemporary look.
