Scope

The Atlantic, headed by celebrated chef Donovan Cooke, has an uncompromising focus on excellence; this high attention to detail in the 300 seat restaurant is carried through from the designs to the unique, ocean-centric cuisine. Just as the food is carefully selected and sourced, so were the designs crafted.

Inspired by the infamous Meatpacking District of New York during the 1900s, with further cues from the liveliness of American fish markets, the designs for this space have a decidedly nautical theme, coupled with a dark moodiness, inspired from the lighting of that era. Each area of the restaurant has its own character; for the Alfresco dining area, the Sixth Sense Black porcelain tiles were selected for their performance and style; their luminous quality ties together the dark palette of the room.
